Giclees are the highest quality print available.  First the painting is scanned or professionally photographed.  Next a color proof is printed, which I then check for color accuracy.  Once the colors are tweaked to achieve the best color match, the image is printed on acid-free archival watercolor paper, using a 12-ink laser printing process with inks that are fade-resistant. Multiple copies of each image can then be made in any size proportional to the original image.

WHAT ARE GICLEE CANVAS WRAPS?

 A scanned image can also be  printed onto canvas and stretched onto a wooden frame which is usually 1" to 2" in depth. Finally, an acid-free glazing (either matte or gloss) is applied, protecting the surface from both water damage and fading.  Canvas wraps can be made in any size that is proportional to the original image.

Once a print has been scanned or photographed and is on file with the fine arts printers I work with, then the image can be made in any size that is proportional to the original images' dimensions.  There will be an additional charge for any custom orders.  Please contact me if you are interested in having a customized print made.
